Carolina Cup '11

Hayley's Carolina Cup dress!







I didn't have time to make my own dress, I grabbed this the night before from Kohls. 

Not too bad for the last minute!



First attempt making on a 'floppy hat'.   

Maggie Wallace joined in the fun!  She looks perfect in her floral sundress.

Our first Carolina Cup race.  Oh the excitement when the horses flew by!  We were not prepared for how cool & windy it would be.  The hat tie came in really handy!

 The front porch of my parents' 200 yr old historic 'Stagecoach House' in

Ridgeway, SC.  Camden is only a short drive away.

 

Miss South Point 2011

Quite a challange to make 14 rompers in 2 weeks!  But the girls looked great.  Madison Morton looks adorable as she performs the opening number for Miss South Point 2011!

Zebra Chaise

Sweet Sandra loving on her new puppy!

After seeing the chaise I made for Hayley's dorm, Sandra wanted one for her dorm at Lenior-Rhyne.  Going with her zebra theme, she chose red/zebra.  It turned out so cute!  (Excuse the Christmas mess in the background!)  This chaise is hinged and has ample storage for shoes, extra blankets, books.  Dorm space is so limited, you have to be creative to find storage!
